The HSL webpage was designed to provide one-stop shopping of medical knowledge-based information (KBI) for HSL customers. Content includes:

- News Flash covering KBI services, resources, systems, trends, plus hospital high lights
- Online delivery of KBI
- Online access to customers' requests and input
About the Health Science Library:
The Health Science Library provides KBI services to physicians, nurses, patients and family members, allied health care providers and associates of O'Connor Hospital (OCH). The HSL collection consists of over 1200 medical books and 140 medical journals. In addition, the HSL provides access to a wide range of online resources - including bibliographic, full-text databases, and interlibrary loan. The HSL is located on the second floor of the 53 Building; the Library hours are 8am to 4pm Monday thru Friday. After hour access for physician, nurses and clinical staff, please call Security. About O'Connor Hospital/Daughters of Charity Health System:O'Connor Hospital, a member of the Daughters of Charity Healthcare System, is a 250-bed acute care hospital. The hospital's simple mission statement is "to serve the sick and the poor." Key medical hospital services include cancer care, cardiac care, maternity and mother-baby care, sports medicine, vascular care, and wound care. The hospital's Emergency Services department handled 36,000 patient visits in 2005, and, having just been remodeled, it is the most technologically-advanced facility in the South Bay area.
