OVERVIEW OF SERVICES
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Evaluation and treatment of musculo-skeletal, neurological, cardiac and general medical conditions in pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations
Treatment may include, but is not limited to: manual therapy (joint and soft tissue mobilization), modalities, exercise, cranio-sacral/myofascial therapy, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, home exercise instruction, family/caregiver training, wound care and debridement
Educational/Support Services: Pre-Op total hip and total knee replacement classes; Back education and training; Stroke support group; and Arthritis education series
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Evaluation and treatment of musculo-skeletal, neurological, psycho-social, cardiac and general medical conditions in adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Treatment may include, but is not limited to: activities of daily living skills training, cognitive/perceptual training, functional activities training, neuro-muscular re-education, sensory-motor skills training, splint fabrication and fitting, family/caregiver training
Ergonomic evaluation: Work station evaluation and report and Work conditioning
Educational/Support Services: Pre-Op total hip and total knee replacement classes; Stroke support group; Home safety evaluations for seniors and Arthritis education series
HAND THERAPY
Certified hand therapist and hand specialists available to evaluate and treat injuries of the hand, wrist and elbow
Splint fabrication and fitting
SPEECH PATHOLOGY
Adult/geriatric and pediatric services: Evaluation and treatment of patients experiencing loss of speech/language, swallowing function, oral and pharyngeal sensorimotor function, cognitive or communicative function and their underlying processes and Videoflouroscopy: Modified barium swallow studies done in coordination with Radiology Department
