Spirit of O’Connor 2007
On September 14, over 550 friends of O’Connor Hospital gathered at the Fairmont Hotel to celebrate the Spirit of O’Connor which was presented by the O’Connor Hospital Foundation Board and Barry Swenson Builder. Guests enjoyed complimentary wine, hors D’oeurves, 
and a silent auction before entering the Imperial Ballroom for a delicious gourmet dinner, spirited live auction and dancing to the Joe Sharino Band. A new addition this year was the very successful Opportunity Drawing featuring a fabulous trip for two to Thailand. Proceeds from the drawing were used to purchase a Giraffe Infant bed for the NICU. This year’s event was co-chaired by Judy Hendricks and her daughter Kellie Blach. Honorary Co-Chairs were Molly and Barry Swenson and Eileen and James Murphy.
Over $416,000 was raised for the benefit of O’Connor’s Family Center consisting of Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and in patient Pediatrics. The center will receive have a total of 4 Giraffe Infant Beds, 12 new Birthing beds and new Operating Room bed. At O’Connor Hospital our experienced physicians, nurses and technical staff make quality treatment their first priority while sharing our values of compassionate care for patients and families.
