O'Connor Hospital Implements "Condition H"

O’Connor Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate care that is excellent and safe.

For our patients, families, and visitors...

Condition H (HELP), a patient safety initiative, was created to address the needs of our patients in case of an emergency or when the patient is unable to get the attention of a healthcare provider. This call will provide our patients and families an avenue to call for immediate help when they feel they are not receiving adequate medical attention.
In offering our families the Condition H option, we want you to know that you are our partners in care. We believe you know your loved one the best, so will listen to you when you see a noticeable medical change in the patient and the healthcare team is not recognizing the concern.
Activating Condition H will result in the immediate alerting of a team of medical professionalswho will arrive in the room to assess the situation, and call in additional clinical support as needed.
