President and Chief Executive Officer

James “Jim” F. Dover has more than 30 years of leadership experience in health care, the last 22 in Catholic healthcare working for a variety of Catholic health systems. Jim joined O’Connor Hospital in April 2009, and previously served as the CEO of St. Anthony North Hospital, a member of Centura Health, in Westminster, Colorado.  In this leadership role, Jim led the 198-bed hospital to significant improvement in physician and employee satisfaction, and halted the decline in market share though program improvements and physician engagement strategies.

Prior to St. Anthony North, Jim was the President and CEO of Lourdes Health Network, a member of Ascension Health, in Pasco, Washington. Among other accomplishments, he worked with national advocacy staff to overturn Medicare’s adverse disproportionate share ruling, resulting in more than $5 million refunded to Lourdes.

Jim holds a master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in Bacteriology from the University of Idaho. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce.
