It is my honor to welcome you to O’Connor Hospital. For more than 120 years, O’Connor Hospital has served the Santa Clara County community. Guided by the mission and values of Daughters of Charity founders St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, we continue our blessed heritage story of offering quality, compassionate care. With your help, we intend to continue building that legacy far into the future.
Our website is a powerful communication tool. With every click, we let you know who we are. By providing comprehensive information on our service lines, community outreach and health information, we reach out to you with hopes that you will, in turn, reach out to us. Not only will we all be strengthened and energized because of this partnership, our community will reap the benefits as well. Healthy people make healthy communities.
Under the direction of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, our overarching goal at O’Connor Hospital remains constant since our founding in 1889. We treat the whole person – body, mind and spirit. More than 1400 associates, along with our medical staff and volunteers, believe in providing respectful, compassionate health care to anyone in need.
As you take a few minutes to navigate through our website, you might see some familiar names and faces. You might learn about new medical benefits that are now available to you and your family. You might also learn about state-of-the-art medical advances we’ve implemented. If you don’t find what you are looking for, please let us know.
We at O’Connor Hospital will fulfill your health care needs in ways that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s not only that we care, it’s the way we care.
Sincerely,
James F. Dover, FACHE
