More than a century ago, a community-minded couple shared their time, talents and wealth to create a hospital and home for the poor, sick and elderly in the blossom-ladened Santa Clara Valley in California, also known as the “Valley of the Heart’s Delight.” Now, 120 years later, O’Connor Hospital still flourishes due to the cherished legacy of compassionate service rendered by its early pioneers.
